What should I learn first? (Chinese or Japanese)?
I am planning to learn both Japanese and Chinese at Portland State University. I’m curious as to what language I should pursue first to get a better grasp of the latter language in the future. Please any insight will help. Should I learn Chinese first or should I learn Japanese first?
You should learn Chinese first because….the Japanese language borrows a lot of characters from Chinese.
