What is the best website to learn traditional Chinese calligraphy?
more from an artistic standpoint — individual characters — than for purposes of written communication
Answers have been very good for the question, particularly if I lived in the DC area. Unfortunately I did not phrase the question accurately. I meant sites where I can find Chinese characters in the traditional calligraphy style with English translations, specifically a free website. I apologize for incorrect wording.

but in my own presonal opinion,if u really want to learn chinese calligraphyless seriously,there was no wedsite helpful,the best way is fallow a calligraphist
but the first thing u should learn before is learning mandarin.especially how to write chinese.that is very important and helpful for u to learn chinese calligraphy.and i would like to mention that it will be very very difficult for a foreigner tolearn chinese calligraphy.because it is also difficult for our native chinese to learn that too!
