Can you suddenly turn dyslexic?
I am 16 years old and is a junior in high school. All my life I have been in advance classes and have been a really bright child but now I have been majorly going down hill. Over the past year or so I been noticing a lot of bazaar things. I cant read hardly at all anymore, everything is like in Chinese. I cant verbally spell things. I cant read off numbers; for example telling someone the numbers off a calculator. I cant transfer numbers; such as punching in numbers off a gift card into a phone. When I went to the eye doctor to get glasses I continuously mixed up my letters even tho I could read them perfectly fine I would be sayings Rs when they were actually Ds. And just some other very peculiar things. My mom had dyslexia or some learning problem when she was a kid and my grandfather on my dads side has dyslexia and it still affects him today. My question is can I be dyslexic? and if so why is it just showing up now when I have been an A B honor student all my life?
