Is Chinese to hard to learn?

I am also learning Spanish right now too. So i would learn chinese on my own.
From what I’ve heard the grammar of Manderin Chinese isn’t too bad. Of course the writing is tough but it’s also fascinating so if you don’t mind taking a bit of time…
I think the pronunciation might be the worst thing, all those tones, and that could be harder on your own.
Still with a CD I’m sure it’s possible so I’d say go for it!
